Technical Content Developer / Trainer in Microsoft Cyber Security

SureSkills Learning Services is undergoing a period of rapid and sustained growth. We are looking for a Technical Curriculum Developer to join our team. The TCD will be a strong self-manager and will be responsible for delivering large project components for our global enterprise customers. The position requires polished presentation skills and the ability to articulate the SureSkills value proposition at CxO level.

Responsibilities

As a Technical Content Developer at SureSkills, you will apply your experience in technology and perhaps training delivery to learning materials. Our primary content source will be SC 300 and SC 900 - from the Microsoft Security certification stack. Familiarity with this content is essential.

In this role, you own the delivery of first-draft storyboards based on this course content. As a member of SureSkills Learning Design team, you’ll work closely with global stakeholders and instructional design experts to deliver high-impact learning content for our clients. Typically we build self-paced and instructor-led training virtually online.

The ability to scaffold and impart technical information to an audience with little or no knowledge of computing is key with the objective of telling a story and bringing learners on a journey.

As part of your role you will be very comfortable in engaging with customers around the following:

• Partnering with client learning leads, SureSkills Technical Curriculum Architect and ID’s to develop learning content that will be transformed into an engaging online learning experience.
• Partnering in the design and development of client related multi-modal blended learning products such as; v/ILT, video, readings, assessments & certifications.
• Project Management & Service Delivery – engage with the Program and Project mangers to ensure our product is delivered to the required standard within the scoped timeline and budget.
• Instructional Design and Curriculum Development – Integrates into the instructional and design process with our customers.
• Storyboard Development - Responsible for writing technically accurate storyboards to the correct level and pedagogically well scaffolded for the defined audience.
• Liaise with the ID team to answer storyboard related questions, - once a storyboard is completed it is handed over to an instructional designer who may have queries or suggestions to enhance the learning experience.
• Technical Assessment Writing – Writing technically accurate and pedagogically sound assessment questions to align to the set standards and guidelines
• Identifies industry best practice in learning design, delivery and technology to bring new thinking and design excellence to our clients.
• Anticipates and solves issues – Ensuring that all designed and developed content is complete and accurate per agreed work orders and fulfils and exceeds the client expectations

Qualifications:

• Microsoft Certified Trainer with experience in delivering SC 300 & 900 - or currently working in a Cyber Security related role and certified SC-300 or 900.
• Experience with writing technical storyboards that effectively scaffold a learner to introducing them to fundamental technical concepts.
• Specific causes of performance gaps - Experience with learning solutions that take advantage of conventional and alternative learning strategies to meet the needs of the learner population and the business, which could include:
• Ensuring an effective interface design, Leading content development and organization, Selecting media (images, audio, video, animation) that enhances the learner experience. Authoring content, Strong ability to work collaboratively and manage multiple priorities.
