Main Purpose:
Creating and Managing the Sales and Distribution channels for Home Broadband devices across the B2C/B2B market to drive acquisition and grow market share.

Job Title: Manager - Wireless Broadband
Reports to: Senior Manager - Broadband
No. of Vacancies: 1

Main Job Functions:
1. Provide leadership in the creation and implementation of Broadband device Channel/Outlet plans (strategy)
2. Driving sales through each channel and increase share of new customer acquisition in the market
3. Managing and speedy resolution of operational issues to improve customer experience and reduce churn.
4. Ensure minimal Channel Partner attrition by deploying relevant tools as appropriate.
5. Recruitment and on boarding of channel partners to enable business growth and expansion.
6. Driving Rewards and Recognition program for channel partners and the direct teams to improve performance
7. Implement and drive Channel plans to grow the number of devices to support the business plan Gross Adds set targets.
8. Tracking of weekly fixed and mobile agent productivity as a key enabler to achieve the desired daily activations targets.
9. Track activations to support subscriber growth (Net Additions).
10. Grow RGS 30 & 90 MBB and FWA subscribers
11. Manage the execution of Channel plans and ensure Brand standards for Channels are adhered to
12. Manage the initiation and implementation of channel activations to drive acquisitions
13. Liaise with the Regional Business Managers to ensure excellent in-Trade activation and execution in line with Picture of Success
14. Provide Channel and Shopper thought leadership for acquisitions channel plans implementation
15. Manage the initiation and implementation of channel activations to drive acquisitions
16. Oversee respective stock planning, forecasting and analysis for distribution and main warehouses
17. Coordinate overall supply chain in the company for all distribution channel partners
18. Manage the implementation and execution of acquisitions strategy and brand visibility nationally
19. Business Intelligence use for distribution optimization
20. Develop commission structures for dealers, agents and staff.
21. Build and maintain regular contacts with key channels to build stronger relationships.
22. Prepare or Liaise with the respective stakeholders on the value proposition
23. Promote and ensure compliance with (MTN policies, processes and procedures, overall objectives of the organization, regulatory & legal)
24. Lead in establishing high level stakeholder interactions with the relevant stakeholders.
25. Provide and grow sales innovation aligned to the vision mission and strategic focus areas of the business.
26. Identify tools /technology that supports implementation of the Broadband acquisition strategy.
27. Maintain professional working relationship with management, field and cross functional personnel, as well as customers and industry partners.
28. Creating Freelancer/Partner channel for deployment of Outdoor solutions
29. Ensure clear geographical reach with the network covered area.
30. Marking territories and increasing the product utilization within the defined territories

Education:
1. A Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business Administration, Commerce, IT or any other related field.
2. A postgraduate qualification in a related field and professional sales certification is an added advantage.

Experience:
1. 5 years’ experience in sales and distribution in a telecom company or service industry
2. 3 years’ experience in a supervisory role
3. Good knowledge of sales and retail Industry trends, best practice retail
4. Structured and organized approach to communicate
