The position
Signalytic hosts dockerized web applications on location at health facilities to overcome connectivity issues. The web applications are developed by Signalytic’s clients. You will be working with an experienced lead developer to package web application server products developed by clients using docker containers, according to an established internal process. You will be working with the client’s developer team to make any needed changes to the application, and to interface our systems with their devOps. In addition you will work with the Signalytic development team to improve the process and tooling around client application integration, and support production with tooling for the provisioning, configuration, and testing of applications.
As a Signalytic software developer you will be part of a small software development team that works on embedded server code, Android applications, and web applications, collaborating closely with more senior developers to broaden your experience.
Important skills and qualifications:
- Excellent communication skills - you will work directly with clients
- Web backend experience, SQL databases
- Mastery of at least one modern web programming language
- Experience with docker
- Able to set up and configure a web application server
- A good understanding and ability with Linux
- Able to work independently as well as with a team
- Problem solving expertise: ability to analyze issues, identify root causes and implement solutions quickly and effectively.
Desired qualifications:
- Git, Gitlab
- 3 years of experience or more
- Familiar with other web programming languages
- Knowledge of container and container orchestration technology, networking, encryption are a plus
