Job Summary
They are looking for trustable, competent personnel to support in Customer service engagements and at the same time support in IT, in that they will be required to understand the network system and know how to troubleshoot in case of any issues.

Job Description/Requirements
Our client Owns an Apartment Hotel In the Kampala Kololo area. They are looking for trustable, competent personnel to support in Customer service engagements and at the same time support in IT, in that they will be required to understand the network system and know how to troubleshoot in case of any issues.
The person will have both IT skills as well as good communication skills due to interactions with customers living at the property.
Roles and responsibilities
IT
● Installing and configuring computer hardware, software, systems, networks, printers, and scanners
● Monitoring and maintaining computer systems and networks
● Responding in a timely manner to service issues and requests
● Providing technical support across the company (this may be in person or over the phone)
● Setting up accounts for new users
● Repairing and replacing equipment as necessary
● Testing new technology
Customer service
● Improving customer satisfaction and customer loyalty
● First contact with the customers
● Responsible for making a good impression and improving reputation.
● Keep front desk clean, tidy, and supplied with all the necessary supplies
● Greet, communicate with, and welcome guests
● Answer all the customers' questions and address their complaints
● Answer all incoming calls, redirect them when needed
● Receive letters, packages and send them to the appropriate destination
● Prepare and manage outgoing mail
● Check, sort, and forward emails
● Monitor supplies
● Make supply orders when needed
● Monitor and update records and files
● Monitor and log office expenses and costs
Qualifications
● A degree /Diploma in IT
● 2 years of experience in an IT role.
● Hands-on experience with office machines
● In-depth knowledge of office management and bookkeeping
● Excellent knowledge of MS Office (especially Excel and Word)
● Sense of ownership and pride in your performance and its impact on the company’s success
