Job Description/Requirements
The ideal candidate will be responsible for troubleshooting, maintaining, and managing IT infrastructure, including desktops, laptops, printers, switches, routers, CCTV systems, access controls and UPS systems. The role also involves performing preventive maintenance to ensure optimal performance and reliability of all IT equipment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Install, configure, and maintain desktops, laptops, and peripheral devices.
- Troubleshoot and repair network devices such as switches, routers, and firewalls.
- Manage and maintain CCTV surveillance systems.
- Perform regular maintenance and troubleshooting of UPS and power backup systems.
- Provide technical support to end-users and resolve IT-related issues promptly.
- Install and troubleshoot operating systems (Windows, mac, etc.) and basic software applications.
- Document IT assets, service requests, and resolution processes.
- Conduct preventive maintenance of all IT equipment to minimize downtime.
Requirements:
- Proven experience as an IT Technician or similar role.
- Strong knowledge of computer hardware, networking, and CCTV systems.
- Experience with troubleshooting printers, UPS, and other office equipment.
- Knowledge of basic software applications and OS installation.
- Ability to perform basic software troubleshooting and support.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
