Installation Technician

Duties and Responsibilities

Support the recovery team on field tracking to recover from noncomplaint clients and stolen bikes.
Pick and maintain an inventory of tracking devices from the administration in line with company guidelines.

Align and assign the tracking devices with motorcycles in line with company guidelines.

Install trackers.

Review of trackers that have gone offline.

Review trackers of all impounded bikes.

Remove tracking devices for finished loans.

Install trackers for those that are lost from impounded bikes being resold to customers.

Perform any other duties assigned by your supervisor

The job holder requires the following specifications:

Minimum Requirements:

National Certificate in Automotive Mechanics or related.
At least 2(two) years working experience or training in apprenticeship in automotive mechanics, maintenance and repair .

Knowledge and skills in use of computerized diagnostic equipment.

Person Specifications:

Ability to work together in a team, under minimum supervision & under tight deadlines.

Good communication skills (oral and written) able to communicate well with customers.

Patient in finding and fixing faults.

Able to work accurately, paying attention to detail.

Willingness to go out and work in all weathers in case of breakdowns.

Required to lift heavy parts, perhaps by yourself or by using lifting equipment.

Maybe required to work outside official work hours and be on call at all times.
