Job Description PRIDE MICROFINANCE LIMITED (MDI), (PML) the leading Microfinance Deposit-Taking Institution in Uganda with 34 networked branches and 10 Contact Offices countrywide and an equal opportunity employer, invites applications from interested individuals to fill the following vacant positions.Information Systems AnalystThe Information Systems Analyst will report to the ICT Security Manager and will be based at Head Office. He/she will provide business Analysis, data information security and cyber security as a support function to Enterprise Risk Management Framework.Specific responsibilities include: –1. Operationalize the Data Analytics Framework.• •Perform system querying to optimise the available business insights.• Monitor system figures, data integrity and functionality for business support.• Manage and implement system controls in both centralised and decentralised systems access authorisation.• Investigate, analyse and review systems and incident reports.• Regularly test system for weaknesses and make recommendations2. Conduct comprehensive testing for all planned additions to the corporate infrastructure before they can go live.• Develop a situational tailored User Acceptance Test (UATS)/Systems/Unit test scripts• Work with the IT department to ensure system upgrade and functionality optimisation• Assist in preparing system definition/ specification by the users highlighting technical requirements. Participate in the implementation and testing of new systems and new systems delivery channels championing risk management processes.• Conduct training for staff in IT Security• Update and maintain registers of physical access to the bank server rooms at all times, record the times and dates of staff and non-staff enter and leave the server rooms.3. Review ICT Business Continuity Plan activities.• Support the Head ICT to conduct business impact assessment and risk assessment of different ICT areas.• Review and analyse the ICT BCP incident occurrence.• Participate/conduct and review the ICT BCP enterprise test sand simulations.4. Undertake Information Asset Profiling.• Information asset valuation and classification. Undertake systems integrity assessment.• Maintenance of the Information assets profile.5. Undertake Risk Management awareness training across the three lines of defense. Minimum academic qualifications, Experience & competences• Bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Science, Information Systems Management or any other relevant/related field Post graduate professional course in ICT Systems Security and Systems Audit is an added advantage.• The candidate should possess two-year experience in the related field and should not be more than 35 years of age.
