Job Summary
The Control System Engineer manages and maintains control systems in oilfields, participates in commissioning and issue resolution, supports engineering and design, ensures technical maintenance, plans inspections, manages spare parts, handles tendering and evaluations, promotes efficiency, plans budgets, organizes emergency maintenance, oversees system modifications, coordinates training, prepares reports, maintains partnerships, and performs additional tasks as needed.

Job Description/Requirements
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Instrument, Electrical Engineering or Automation related discipline.
- At least 4 years of experience in Oil & Gas industry related instrument maintenance and operation, including 2 years’ experience working on-site.
Knowledge:
- Knowledge of automatic and control engineering.
- Experience with control system maintenance and management.
- Participate in new oilfield instrument related commissioning and start up, collect and follow up instrument related issues left out by the engineering team.
- Participate in engineering work, supply technical supports and advice during design, construction and pre-commissioning.
- Ensure technical support for on-site control system maintenance and management and plan to resolve any rising issues.
- Prepare and implement the oilfield control system, maintenance strategy and procedures to ensure a high integrity and good status.
- Ensure all control system related annual inspection and certifications are carried out on time.
- In charge of control, system related spare management and optimize spare storage.
- Participate in control system related materials, spares and service tendering, and conduct bidding evaluations especially in the technical aspects
- Promote the development of studies and related programs to optimize control system maintenance and improve efficiency.
- Prepare and implement control system maintenance work program and budget.
- Organize control system emergency maintenance, minimum influence to production, reduce personnel and asset damage.
- Manage changes and modifications of control systems, organize instrument related potential risk and hazard corrective actions.
- Coordinate planning and implementation of personnel nationalization and schedule training activities.
- Continuously prepare control system related reports.
- Maintain good working relationship with partners and contractors in area of mutual interests for cost effective conduct of the operations;
- Execute instrument related summary and analysis, providing improvement or preventive measures.
- Perform other duties assigned by superior.
