JOB DESCRIPTION FOR HUMAN RESOURCE SPECIALIST
Seven Apple Trees Uganda Limited was established in Uganda since 2016, headquartered in Kampala plot 130-138 and 140-148,7th street industrial area and affiliated to Sunda International group of company founded in 2000 in Guangzhou China. The company deals in various products under Building Materials (BMMC), Fast Moving Consumable Goods (FMCG) and Household/Hardware Material (HHMC).
We are in need of a Human Resource Specialist in charge of employee file management, Contract Management ,Probation confirmation management, Employee Relationship Management, Salary Calculation, Employee on-boarding.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Employee On-boarding & Off-boarding:
- Facilitate the on boarding process for new employees, including orientation, paperwork, and training.
- Handle off boarding procedures, ensuring smooth exits and compliance with company policies.
Employee Relations
- Resolved conflicts and grievances in a timely and fair manner, fostering a positive work environment and minimizing disruptions to productivity.
Compliance & Reporting
- Ensure the company complies with labor laws of Uganda and regulations
Payroll & Benefits Administration:
- Assist in processing payroll, tracking attendance, leave, and managing benefits.
- Handle employee benefits enrollment and inquiries.
System Management.
- Timely update the personnel system entry, departure, transfer, reward, punishment to ensure that the information is accurate.
Employee file management
- Sort and arrange the files of new and existing employees in order to ensure the orderliness of employee files.
- Contract Management. Ensuring archiving of new contract signing and renewal materials
Probation confirmation management
- Sort out the list of employees who should be confirmed as formal employee on a monthly basis, and carry out and follow up the employee's probation confirmation work.

Education, Professional & Work Experience
- The candidate must at least have a Bachelor's Degree or above in Human Resource Management or a related course.
- Years of work experience 2 years and above.
- Related job experience (More than 2 years’ experience in Human Resource Management.
