Job Summary

Implement Human resource management policies, systems, and processes and carry out HR administration in line with LN’s HR framework and statutory requirements. The position shall provide support to administration and procurement functions of LN in line with stipulated policies and guidelines

Job Description/Requirements

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Participate in the review of Organizational policies, systems, and procedures and provide technical support to staff and partners in line with the Human Resource and Administrative policies
  • Implement the AAU recruitment and selection processes in line with the Human Resource manual.
  • Analyze, maintain and report on the performance management process, records and procedure in line with the PM best practices.
  • Maintain and update a comprehensive filing system and the LN human resource information system for HR-related documents and reports
  • Develop and implement staff learning and development programs in line with LN objectives and procedures.
  • Develop and implement welfare schemes and staff benefits in line with the human resource policy.  
  • Develop and maintain the LN staff benefits in line with the department’s mandate
  • Participate in documentation and dissemination of correspondences and minutes in line with the HR policy.
  • Initiate the LN monthly payroll and advise Finance on any changes before salaries are affected.
  • Coordinate and ensure adequate security of people and Organization assets in line with Organizational policies. 
  • Coordinate the maintenance of LN premises in line with the LN Policies.
  • Supervise, coach, and mentor staff, to support their performance in line with Human Resource Policy Manual 
  • Lead the implementation of policies and standard operating guidelines for procurement.


Educational qualification and experience

  •  A Bachelor’s Degree in Organisational Psychology, Human Resource Management, Public Administration, and/or   Business Administration.
  • Postgraduate Training in Human Resource Management is an added advantage

Essential experience

  • At least three years of relevant work experience in a reputable organization.
