Summary

Our client in a leisure and hospitality business is looking for a self-motivated and qualified Hotel Manager with experience. The main duties and responsibilities of a Hotel Manager will include the following;


Key Responsibilities

  • Responsible for all departments;
  • Manage Hotel Staff;
  • Create employee work schedules and performance standards;
  • Oversee Inventory and ensure orders of new items are done;
  • Interact with guests to ensure they receive a quality experience;
  • Answering questions and addressing customer complaints on behalf of management;
  • Ensure rooms, and other hotel areas are clean and hotel protocols are being followed;
  • Setting goals for performance and deadlines in ways that comply with company's plans and vision;
  • Organizing workflow and ensuring that employees understand their duties or delegated tasks;
  • Monitoring employee productivity and providing constructive feedback and coaching;
  • Receive complaints and resolve problems;
  • Maintain timekeeping and personnel records;
  • Ensure there is flow of information from management to employees and vice versa;
  • Prepare and submit performance reports;
  • Recommend on reward and promotion based on performance;
  • Participation in hiring  and training new employees; 
  • Undertake disciplinary actions if the need arises; and 
  • Any other duties assigned.

  • Sales skills, Customer service, Personnel management, Communication skills, Time management, Organization skills, Leadership skills, Attention to detail and Computer skills. 


Requirements 

  • Proven experience as a supervisor or relevant role;
  • Familiarity with company policies and legal guidelines of the field;
  • Good knowledge of MS Word, MS Excel, and MS PowerPoint; 
  • Relevant  Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree.
