Responsibilities & Duties:
Oversee hardware and engineering roles of the company including but not limited to repairs and maintenance of company equipment
Monitor that parts and tools stocks are kept at desired levels and alerting the procurement team in a timely manner on when replenishments should be made
Prepare a quarterly repair plan to ensure all company equipment is in good working condition
Performance evaluation with measuring the outcome from both qualitative and quotative point of view and overall supervision of technical staff on attendance and job execution
Identify loopholes in existing system and liaise with company software developers to close the gap
Train the team on proposed engineering solutions and ensure they are well equipped to assist agents with related challenges
Provide after-sales support to the customer to when necessary, to identify inefficiencies and to ensure successful use of our products and solutions to improve outcomes
Conduct electrical safety checks on equipment and repairing
Troubleshooting system and network problems, diagnosing and solving hardware or software faults
Development of appropriate test hardware and procedures, both informal and formal, to prove the correct operation of hardware
Provide support for the hardware and manage component obsolescence throughout its lifecycle
Skills & Qualifications:
Diploma in Electrical Engineering or Mechanical Engineering
Ability to effectively research and solve complex technical issues
Proven work experiences as a Team Leader/Supervisor with minimum of 3 years’ experience
Leadership skill and experiences in work environments
Ability to train and equip the team with junior engineer
Excellent written and spoken communication skills in English
Excellent IT skills including, but not limited to, Excel and database and ability to quickly learn new inventory management systems
Ability to work quickly and effectively under pressure
A team player towards the common vision of the company
Be honest, disciplined and with integrity
