Job Purpose 

The food and Beverage Manager is responsible for managing all F&B operations and for delivering an excellent guest experience.


Duties and Essential Job Functions

  • Manage all F&B and day-to-day operations within budgeted guidelines and to the highest standards
  • Liaise with chefs to design delicious and attractive menus for restaurants and continuously make improvements.
  • Ensure the needs and concerns of customers are addressed promptly to enhance customer satisfaction and improve the public perception of a company.
  • Ensure the quality of produced meals through tasting to confirm flavor.
  • Forecast, plan, source, and order food supplies for the kitchen, as well as beverages to stock the bar and fridges.
  • Build positive relationships with food and beverage vendors.
  • Oversee the purchase and procurement of all necessary food stock and culinary items.
  • Maintain accurate inventory of all food items and stock to ensure the availability of required materials.
  • Ensure compliance with ISO, food, health and safety regulations and procedures
  • Administer all food and beverage facilities and ensure optimal cleanliness and safety procedures in efficient working.
  • Organize workshops and training programs for all the staff of the food and beverage staff to ensure an effective unit.
  • Monitor the performance and activities of food and beverage staff to ensure compliance with set customer service standards.
  • Assist with marketing events.
  • Create and enforce restaurant policies, targets, and key performance indicators.
  • Report on management regarding sales results and productivity.
  • Any other duty may be assigned within your scope of work.


Skills and Qualifications

  • Minimum of 4 years experience of progressive hotel F&B management experience or related 
  • In-depth knowledge of the food industry.
  • Bachelor’s degree in hospitality management or related field.
  • Strong working knowledge of related computer software, including restaurant management software.
  • Ability to adhere to budgets and meet financial targets.
  • Exceptional organizational, time management skills leadership, problem-solving, and communication skills.
  • Ability to forecast food and beverage needs.
  • Excellent customer service skills.
  • Great delegation skills.
