Electrical Technician

• Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems, including wiring, lighting, and control systems.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot electrical issues using diagnostic tools and equipment.
• Perform routine inspections and preventive maintenance on electrical systems and equipment.
• Read and interpret electrical schematics, blueprints, and technical manuals.
• Ensure compliance with local and national electrical codes and regulations.
• Collaborate with other technicians, engineers, and contractors to complete projects.
• Provide accurate documentation of work performed, including service reports and maintenance records.
• Respond to emergency repair requests and perform urgent repairs as needed.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area and ensure tools and equipment are in good condition.
• Educate and advise clients on electrical safety and system maintenance.

Qualifications:

• A higher diploma in Electrical engineering or equivalent, technical certification or associate degree in electrical technology preferred.
• Proven experience as an electrical technician or similar role with at least 2 years’ experience
• In-depth knowledge of electrical systems, wiring, and circuit design.
• Familiarity with electrical code requirements and safety practices.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
