Job Description/Requirements
A communication operations manager supervises marketing staff and initiatives to maintain business productivity and smooth operations. This marketing operations manager oversees and ensures implementation of internal and external clients. This role also assists with Public Relations strategies and campaigns
- Create and present the annual marketing plan and strategy for internal BG client
- Revisit monthly and adjust as needed throughout the year
- Design, plan and execute effective marketing campaigns for internal BG client and external clients
- This includes creating communications strategies and content calendars
- Set marketing goals and objectives for internal campaigns and marketing clients
- Use data and reports to make evidence-based decisions
- Stay up to date with the latest technology and best practices to set goals
- Market products and expertise by assisting staff in researching, and developing marketing plans, maintaining response operations, and maintaining quality ratings
- Maintain quality service by establishing, creating and enforcing process standards, surveying customers, and evaluating outcomes
- Work with owner on prospecting for new clients and business development
- Determine and track KPIs on a regular basis and present reports
- Maintain work process flows by coordinating information and requirements with related operational team members
- Keep the leadership team informed by preparing reports, presentations, interpreting information, and making recommendations
- Assists in implementing public relations strategies for marketing clients and internal campaigns including:
- Write and create pitches in accordance with PR strategy
- Assign Contact list research and creation
- Pitching to local, regional or national outlets
- Oversees and assists with social media strategy and implementation when needed
- Vendor coordination including Negotiating and managing contracts for advertising, marketing, and promotions
- 3-5 years experience in marketing with experience in Public Relations
- Hands-on experience with CRM and SEO tools such Google Analytics, Google Adwords, HubSpot, WebTrends, SalesForce, etc.
- Strong skills in research and data analysis
- Regularly produce and present reports
- Excellent organizational and time management skills
- Good communication and interpersonal skills especially with senior leadership internally and with clients
- Process management
- Attention to detail, graphic design
- Critical thinking and analytical skills
