Job Description/Requirements

Best Ceramics Uganda Limited was established in Uganda in 2016, headquartered in Kampala plot 130-138 and 140-148,7th street industrial area and affiliated to Sunda International group of the company founded in 2000 in Guangzhou China. The company deals in various products under Building Materials (BMMC), Fast Moving Consumable Goods (FMCG) and Household/Hardware Material (HHMC).


We are in need of two (2) Customercare Officers with related experience in Building materials to work under a building material marketing center (BMMC) department.


Position Purpose

Be responsible for the connection with the company's customers, follow up and implement orders, distribution, and other services.

Key Responsibilities:

Marketing objectives

  • Assisting sales officers in their day-to-day marketing activities when they are away in the market.
  • To support the overall marketing objectives of the company both externally and internally.

Order related

  • Provide support services such as order preparation and ushering of customers through the payment procedure and issuing of goods by the warehouse.
  • Persuades and guide customers through the buying process as well as offer product solutions.
  • Receives, processes and verifies the accuracy of orders from customers utilizing the organization's internal CRM mainframe system and customer purchase orders.
  • Ensures and provides quality customer service to both internal and external customers.
  • Receives inquiries from customers and resolves a variety of customer-related issues.
  • Enter customer's order and access the company’s internal system to obtain and extract order information and provide customer service management with data for inclusion in various scheduled and special reports.

Payment related

  • Follow customer's payment and control bounced cheques.


  • Complete the tasks assigned by leaders with quality and quantity guaranteed.


  • Prepare daily and weekly sales and order report..

 Education, Professional & Work Experience


The candidate must at least have a Bachelor's Degree or above.


  • Years of work experience (1 year)
  • Related job experience (More than 1-year experience in customer)


Professional Knowledge

  • Proficient (Communication and coordination ability)
  • Familiar (Uganda building Materials market distribution)
  • Understanding (Knowledge of local taxation)
  • Basic understanding (Knowledge of warehousing)
  • Good teamwork skills.
