Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for a Credit Officer based in Soroti. The Credit Officer will be responsible for evaluating loan applications, conducting credit analysis, monitoring loan portfolios, and ensuring compliance with credit policies. The role also includes liaising with customers to provide financial advice and support, as well as helping to improve credit management processes.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in Credit Management and Credit analysis
• Strong Analytical skills and experience in Finance
• Excellent Communication skills
• Bachelors degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field
• At least 2 years of experience in a credit management role
• Attention to detail and strong organizational skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Knowledge of microfinance industry is a plus
• Ability to ride a motorcycle with a valid drivers license
