Child Care Assistant (Eligibility Pool)

NOTE: Internal applicants are required to submit a current Letter of Introduction, an updated Resume and any additional required documents (new or in need of an update) not on file. Substitutes must submit ALL required documents. EXPERIENCE: Experience working with multi-age groups of children in a child care setting.









All required documents must be uploaded to be considered. Hard copies will not be accepted. EDUCATION: Two (2) years of college (48 semester units) OR AA degree (or higher), OR Possess the Proficiency Test for Instructional Aides (No Child Left Behind exam) AND 6 units Early Childhood Education (ECE) OR Child Development (CD) preferred 3 units of the 6 in School-Age preferred.

• CPR/First Aid Certification (Must have valid CPR & First Aid Certificate)
• Letter of Introduction
• Letter(s) of Recommendation (Must Submit Two (2) Letters Dated within the last Twelve (12) months.)
• Proof of HS Graduation (or equivalent )
