Anchor Machines is hiring! We’re looking for diligent, energetic, and hard-working Business Development Officers with up to 1 year of experience to help us launch our Uganda business. The Business Development Officers would be responsible for recruiting and onboarding Construction Equipment and clients to use our Web and Mobile Application systems. This will include client identification, sales pitches, GPS tracker sales and customer onboarding. This role will help grow our presence in Uganda and will be based in Kampala.

Anchor Systems through its application, Anchor Machines, is focused on improving Construction Efficiency, easy access to and affordability of Construction Equipment in Africa. We use data from our Application to provide a seamless connection between our clients and the Construction equipment they need on site.

Job Summary: 

Anchor Machines is hiring! We’re looking for diligent, energetic, and hard-working Business Development Officers with up to 1 year of experience to help us launch our Uganda business. The Business Development Officers would be responsible for recruiting and onboarding Construction Equipment and clients to use our Web and Mobile Application systems. This will include client identification, sales pitches, GPS tracker sales and customer onboarding. This role will help grow our presence in Uganda and will be based in Kampala.


Key Duties and Responsibilities: 

• Generate and pursue leads for the Anchor Machines Application

• Support & engage in the onboarding of newly acquired customers

• Recruit and supervise Sales Teams

• Generate GPS Tracker Sales 

• Provide frontline support

• Recruit users for the Anchor Machines Application

• Represent Anchor Systems during various leads & sales generation engagements



Qualifications, Skills, and Experience:

• The applicant should hold a Bachelors Degree in any field, preferably I.T and Marketing

• At least one year of sales experience

• Ability to tap into local Construction networks

• High degree of professionalism, integrity, strong organization, and attention to detail

• Strong communication skills are an important component of this role including written and spoken English

• Able to establish and maintain lasting relationships

• Growth mindset and enthusiasm for learning, feedback, and continuous improvement
