Job Description/Requirements

General description 

We’re looking for a driven Business Development Officer to accelerate growth and build lasting client relationships. You will identify and qualify leads, drive sales through strategic outreach, and uncover new business opportunities. Key responsibilities include developing growth strategies, conducting market research, providing exceptional client support. Success will be measured by leads generated, sales closed, client retention, and team development.


Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement growth strategies to increase revenue and client satisfaction.
  • Qualify leads from marketing campaigns and convert them into sales opportunities.
  • Conduct outreach to potential clients via calls, emails, and networking.
  • Arrange and lead meetings with prospective clients.
  • Build and maintain long-term, trusting client relationships.
  • Provide post-sales support and feedback to clients.
  • Conduct market research to identify client needs and emerging business opportunities.


Must-have:

  • Proven experience in business development, sales, or client management.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to identify opportunities and close deals.
  • Strategic thinking and analytical skills.
  • Self-motivated and results-driven.


Nice-to-have:

  • Knowledge of digital marketing or media industry trends.
  • Familiarity with CRM systems and sales automation tools.
  • Experience in research and market analysis.


Interview process

Initial HR screening (30 min)

Technical/role-focused interview with Business Development Manager

Case study or role-play exercise to assess sales strategy and client management skills

Final interview with senior leadershipTeam 


Reports to: Head of Sales / CEO

Works closely with: Marketing, Operations, and Product Teams
