Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced Business Development Manager with 10+ years in real estate, civil projects, and bank lesioning to drive business growth in Kampala, Uganda. The role involves identifying opportunities, securing projects, and building strong networks across industry and financial sectors.

Job Description/Requirements

Key Responsibilities:
Identify and develop new business opportunities in the real estate and civil project sectors.
Develop and execute strategic plans to achieve sales targets and expand our customer base.
Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders including government bodies, banks, contractors, and clients.
Lead project acquisition efforts and oversee the proposal and bidding processes.
Liaise with banks for project financing, documentation, and approvals.
Analyze market trends and competitor activity to identify potential areas for growth.
Work closely with internal teams for project planning, execution, and timely delivery.
Represent the company at industry events, trade shows, and networking meetings.

Requirements:

MBA in Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field (mandatory).
Minimum 10 years of relevant experience in business development, preferably in real estate, infrastructure, or civil projects.
Proven experience in liaison with banks and financial institutions.
Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
Strong network within the industry and government bodies is a plus.
Willingness to relocate and work full-time in Kampala, Uganda.
