Job Description/Requirements

JOIN US AS A Business development CONSULTANT (SALES), KAMPALA.

Sanlam Life Insurance Uganda Limited (SLUL) is a wholly owned subsidiary of Sanlam Emerging Markets (SEM), which is part of the Sanlam Group, responsible for the strategic focus of growing Sanlam’s presence in Africa and South East Asia.

SLUL is seeking to recruit experienced, hardworking, committed, honest and ethical Business Development Consultant who serves customers excellently with a track record of exemplary performance and great persistence.


Key Roles and responsibilities

Recruitment & Training. 

Recruitment, selection, training, and Retention of Sales team leaders/Agents 

Ensure COP qualification and Licensing of all agents


2. Productivity. 

Drive Agents productivity to achieve set company targets. 

Monitoring performance and goal setting 


3. Activity Management. 

Use of activity management tools to monitor team performance.

4. Motivating and inspiring the team. 

5. Prospecting, Marketing/selling assistance, and support to the team. 

6. Worksite Development and servicing


Education Requirement

  • Degree in any field of studies.
  • Proficient in relevant computer applications. 


JOB EXPERIENCE/QUALIFICATIONS

  • Minimum of 2 years of Sales experience.

  • Marketing skills
  • Excellent interpersonal skills to develop relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Excellent communication (written and verbal)
