Job Summary
The Branch Sales and Collections Lead is responsible for driving client acquisition and ensuring consistent collection of payments (Loans & savings) at the City Centre branch. This role oversees field sales and deposit mobilization activities, supervises a team of agents, and ensures that clients adhere to agreed savings schedules.

Job Description/Requirements
- Key Responsibilities
1. Sales and Client Acquisition
- Promote Kray Microfinance’s savings and investment products to individuals, groups, and businesses.
- Execute branch-level strategies to meet monthly targets for client onboarding and savings mobilization
- Lead field activations, workplace outreach, and market campaigns to grow deposit volumes.
- Ensure proper KYC and onboarding procedures are followed.
2. Savings and Deposits Collections
- Supervise and coordinate daily savings and deposit collections from clients under structured savings plans (e.g. Kabox Kusimu, Early Bird, 120 Days Challenge).
- Ensure agents follow collection schedules and submit funds on time.
- Follow up with clients who miss scheduled deposits and implement proactive engagement to reduce drop-offs.
- Monitor savings consistency per client and escalate irregularities or cancellations.
- Track individual plan performance and contribute to growth of branch-level wallet balances.
3. Team Management
- Recruit, train, and lead a team of sales and deposit collection agents.
- Allocate daily field targets and monitor execution.
- Coach and motivate agents to maintain high performance, discipline, and accountability.
- Maintain updated agent performance reports and handle any field disputes.
4. Reporting and Compliance
- Submit daily reports on new savings accounts, deposit collections, missed deposits, and customer feedback.
- Ensure all client funds are recorded accurately and reconciled with system entries.
- Flag any suspicious activity or misreporting immediately.
- Maintain a strong audit trail for all field collections.
5. Customer Relationship Management
- Engage regularly with clients to ensure satisfaction and understanding of their saving plans.
- Educate customers on the benefits of consistent saving and long-term financial planning.
- Address complaints promptly and escalate issues requiring management attention.
Qualifications and Experience
- Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Business, Microfinance, Marketing, or related field
- At least 2 years of experience in savings mobilization or microfinance field operations
- Experience supervising sales or field agents in a fast-paced environment
- Familiarity with savings group dynamics and structured financial plans
