Responsibilities
- Assists in the preparation of notices and agenda items for meetings;taking of minutes; and following -up on the decisions arising from Council and Management meetings.
- Assists in Planning and organizing events, and submit reports accordingly.
- Provides support to Faculties and departments in planning and budgeting.
- Liaises with HRM on staff welfare, death and funeral arrangements and expenses in accordance with terms and conditions of service.
- Assists in making bookings for both local and international travel and hotel reservations.
- Receives and handles administrative issues from the various Units of the University and prepares responses
- Assist users on procurement and supplies management
- Supervises Staff, assesses performance and identifies training needs and recommends appropriate training.
Requirements
- Should have a minimum of an Honors Bachelor degree in Social Sciencesor Business Administration (Management Option) or Bachelors degree in Social Work and Social Administration or Bachelor of Public Administration and Management from a recognized Institution.
- Should have a minimum of three (3) years administrative experience from a recognized institution.
- Should hold a Certificate in Administrative Law from a recognized awarding institution.
- Should have good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Demonstrated computer knowledge.
- Should have high integrity.
- The applicant should be below the age of 55 years at the time of application.
