Job Description Position SummaryAs a Network Administrator, your primary responsibility is to provide network support for the Company and Group of Companies. This is a hands-on technical position that requires knowledge of IP networks and information security. You will be working with various technologies, including IP networks, WAN technologies, LAN technologies, wireless technologies, and network security technologies.Your role will involve supporting network infrastructure systems throughout the Company, Group of Companies, data centers, co-locations, as well as end users. You will be responsible for ensuring the reliability, sustainability, and scalability of all network infrastructure while ensuring compliance with internal security policies.In addition to your regular duties, you should be willing to be on call 24/7 and be ready to take on any other responsibilities that may arise. It is expected that you have at least 5 years of experience as a Senior Network Administrator to effectively fulfill the requirements of this position.Essential Duties and Responsibilities:1. Configure and maintain all network switches (Cisco, Dell, etc.), routers, wireless access points (WAP), and firewalls.2. Set up and maintain VPNs (Virtual Private Networks) and ensure secure access to the network.3. Configure and maintain a network monitoring platform to proactively monitor network performance and troubleshoot issues.4. Perform network monitoring, analysis, and performance tuning to ensure the stability and efficiency of the network infrastructure.5. Troubleshoot and resolve Wide Area Network (WAN) and Local Area Network (LAN) infrastructure issues.6. Demonstrate a comprehensive understanding of current networking systems, including routers, switches, firewalls, VPNs, data circuits, wireless networking, and web security.7. Maintain the company’s network and ensure connectivity to the Intranet and Internet.8. Manage and control network system access, including firewall administration, inter-VLAN routing, switch administration, and wireless network administration.9. Possess a strong understanding of dynamic routing protocols such as OSPF, BGP, MPLS, as well as Layer 2 and Layer 3 switching, including VPC, VLAN, HSRP, STP, trunking, and EtherChannel.10. Hands-on experience with firewalls, including building IPsec tunnels (remote and site-to-site), configuring QoS (Quality of Service), defining security zones, and managing NAT (Network Address Translation) rules.11. Proficient in SSL VPNs and web security implementation.12. Participate in periodic network maintenance activities, including firmware upgrades for firewalls, switches, wireless access points, and VPN appliances.13. Ensure the security of the IT infrastructure by implementing measures to protect against viruses, spyware, and malware attacks.14. Knowledge of using Visio for diagramming network documentation.15. Experience in the implementation of UTP/Fiber Structured Cabling projects.16. Additional advantage: Experience with HCI/VMware virtual infrastructure, storage systems, and Windows/Linux servers.17. Ability to implement best practices and standards in network administration.18. Capability to mentor and train other team members.Minimal Qualifications:1. Bachelor’s degree in computer science or a related field.2. CCNA/CCNP certification is a must-have requirement. Ms Office: A candidate for this position must be proficient in the use of Ms Word, Ms Excel, and PowerPoint, Analytical Skills: A candidate for this position must be capable of gathering and interpreting raw information and data, documenting findings, and drawing appropriate recommendations. Interpersonal Skills: The candidate must be a helpful, calm and professional individual, have strong time management skills.
