Refinery Operator Duties.
Mitigate safety hazards and audit maintenance during normal routine tasks
Responsible for analyzing samples and reviewing laboratory results
Make sure that all equipment is in good condition and are operating properly
Maintaining all production and consumption records
Check daily logs that help to determine proper operation of equipment
Provide training and instructions in the proper methods and processes
Operate, maintain, and inspect unit equipment such as valves, pumps, compressors, turbines, fired heaters, boiler, cooling towers, and tanks
Make thorough rounds, take readings and samples as required, and maintain accurate log books
Operate control panels to coordinate and regulate process variables such as temperature and pressure, and to direct product flow rate, according to process schedules.
A minimum of a Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry is a MUST.
Knowledge/experience of a refinery plant will be added advantage.
However, fresh graduates who are ready to be trained are also encouraged to apply.
