The Successful Candidate Will Be Responsible For:

  •  On-Call Support for Quest Holdings Ltd

  •  Configuration and Software Asset Management

∙    Disaster recovery of client desktop environment through the use of data restoration tools.

∙    Hardware system administration

∙    Quick Resolution of request fulfillment

∙    Documentation and Policy implementation

∙    Ease of accessibility of documentation

∙    Project Implementation Involvement

∙    Maintain up-to-date and accurate inventory information on the organization's IT Support assets.

∙    System Monitoring and Administration.

∙    Network Support and Administration.

∙    Linux and Windows Server Support and Maintenance.

∙    Database Monitoring and Administration.

∙    Web Development and Design

∙    Data Backup and Management

∙    All Systems Monitoring for Optimum running

∙    Server Room Control and Caretaker

∙    User Training

∙    Administration and Configuration of IT Client Hardware, Software & IP Telephony

The Ideal Candidate Should Possess:

Required Education and Experience

  • Graduate - Degree BSc or Diploma. In Comp Science, Math’s, physics

  • Certified CISCO Engineer

  • WAN/LAN Interconnect experience

  • 1-2 years in networks: managing a network of 50 + users

  • Formal professional training or work experience in networking and communication technologies. Knowledge of a networking environment.

  • Knowledge of Cisco IOS and proficiency in a wide range of networking LAN/WAN

             products and technologies.

  • Good working knowledge of server and back-office products as well as front end operating systems. e.g. Windows NT server, 2000, exchange, proxy server.

Position Type/Expected Hours of Work

This is a full-time position, and hours of work and days are Monday through Friday, 8:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. Occasional evening and weekend work may be required as job duties demand.
