Bayport Financial Services (Uganda) Ltd is part of the Bayport International Group (BML) headquartered in Johannesburg, South Africa with Financial Services Operations in over Nine Countries in Africa and South America. In line with our Corporate Objective of continuous improvement and achieving efficiencies in our Country Operations, we invite applications from suitably qualified, professional and experienced candidates for the following openings within our Uganda Operations


Branch Manager (Several Opportunities):

The incumbents shall be based in any one of our Branches across the country or in any of the branches in the following administrative regions: Arua, Gulu, Lira, Soroti, Mbale, Jinja, Hoima, Mbarara, Kampala or Central Region.

 

Key Duties & Responsibilities of the Branch Manager

 

a)    The role holder is to also ensure that sales and operational objectives of the Branch are achieved on a daily basis by proactively managing and coordinating with all Government votes for application approvals and sales and service feedback

b)    The incumbent is also expected to ensure fully functional Business partnerships and relationship with both Government and Community leadership in all areas of Branch operations.

c)     This role is a purely sales role with KPIs based on business growth, customer service, attraction, recruitment and retention of agents and relationship management.

Qualifications, Skills & Experience:

d)    A three years Practical direct, proactive and relationship managed sales in a busy financial institution is pre-requisite for shortlisting.

e)    Qualified interested and experienced Applicants should preferably come from the said Branch locations or have very good knowledge of the specified branch area.

f)     The ability to work without supervision, recruit, train and lead a team of young and independent sales consultants is the most important competency for this job holder,

g)    A diploma Certificate is desirable but not mandatory if conditions ‘e & f’ and satisfactorily met

h)    Excellent Performance based reward for hardworking and performing competent resources.
