Our Client is an Audit firm that deals in Audit, Accounting, Financial Consultancy Services and is looking for an Audit Associate.
Assist in planning work on assigned segments of an audit;
Recommend the means of obtaining, analyzing and evaluating evidentiary data;
Review transactions, documents, records, reports, and methods for accuracy and effectiveness;
Prepare acceptable working papers that record and summarize data on the assigned audit segment;
Hold preliminary discussions of apparent deficiencies with operating personnel to verify and obtain explanations and reasons for each apparent deficiency and documents responses;
Report audit findings and makes recommendations for the correction of unsatisfactory conditions, improvements in operations and reductions in cost;
Assist in the performance of special reviews at the request of management;
Assist and support the audit team in their day-to-day functions;
Draft financial statements in compliance with audit functions;
Plan, direct and perform all financial audits;
Prepare and manage audit budgets;
Create internal audit systems and procedures;
Train and mentor audit interns and assistants;
Review and assess the performance of audit interns and assistants;
Resolve client inquiries and issues relating to audit functions;
Prepare audit reports and statements for the top management on various financial aspects;
Ensure compliance of best practices of all audit procedures and standards;
Performs other duties as may be assigned.
Reporting skills, attention to detail, deadline-oriented, reporting research results, confidentiality, time management, data entry management.
Degree in Accounting or any related field;
ACCA/ CPA Certificate;
At least 1-year experience as an Audit Associate;
The applicant must be a good team player;
Demonstrate strong communication, numerical and analytical skills;
Willing to work under no supervision and learn new skills quickly;
Result-oriented and able to meet tight deadlines; and
Proactive and self-driven.
