With over 20 years steering retail and SME banking across Africa and Asia, Grace\u2019s journey is a testament to <em>purposeful leadership<\/em>\u2014one that fuses strategic growth with empathy and inclusion.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>From earning her Chartered Banker MBA to executive trainings at Oxford and INSEAD, she\u2019s leveraged financial acumen to uplift communities and champion women\u2019s voices on boardrooms and beyond.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cWhen we open doors for one woman,\u201d she told us, \u201cwe\u2019re unlocking potential for a thousand more.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Her words set the tone: empowerment is contagious.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"h-1-championing-inclusive-workplaces\"><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"1_Championing_Inclusive_Workplaces\"><\/span><strong>1. Championing Inclusive Workplaces<\/strong><span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Why it matters:<\/strong> An inclusive culture isn\u2019t a \u201cnice-to-have\u201d\u2014it\u2019s the bedrock of innovation and retention. Under Xenia\u2019s guidance, Grace outlined the first frontier:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u25cf&nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; <strong>Policy Foundations:<br> <\/strong>&nbsp;Crafting parental\u2011leave packages and flexible hours so caregivers\u2014predominantly women\u2014can thrive in leadership pipelines.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u25cf&nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; <strong>Leadership by Example:<br> <\/strong>&nbsp;Executives must <em>walk the talk<\/em>: Grace shared how Ecobank\u2019s C\u2011suite now includes gender\u2011balanced interview panels.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u25cf&nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; <strong>Safe Spaces:<\/strong><strong><br><\/strong><strong> <\/strong>&nbsp;Formal mentorship circles ensure that women at every level have sponsors cheering them on, not just critics.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>By embedding inclusion into KPIs, organizations signal that equity is as measurable\u2014and non\u2011negotiable\u2014as profitability.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"h-2-closing-the-gender-pay-gap\"><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"2_Closing_the_Gender_Pay_Gap\"><\/span><strong>2.
